1996 ~ EVH Peavey Wolfgang#91000214I honestly believe you won't find a better ont than this. THis beauty is in fine shape (9.5). - No Fret-Wear? Here is the real Deal (one of the few prototypes still left). Thats hasn't already been tucked away in a closetor in Peavey Museam. If you aren't familiar with this (EVH-Wolfgang) here is the story. THese low sieral number were only made for Eddy. Notice the front of the Head-Stock-The deep - disk-disk cut- (this was so Eddie's guitar's did not get mixed in with Regular Production model's. (EVH) The neck was hand done & hand finished- just truly This is probably one of the most sought after guitars in the Wolfgang Collection.... and here's why... This guitar is a PROTOTYPE! ... I was very lucky in purchasing this guitar... in fact I recieved a call about this guitar... Heres the deal.. the first few hundred guitars produced were done at a different production level ... for instance look at the deep cut in the head stock .... reasaon for this is so that Eddies guitars would not get mixed in with the regular run of Wolfgangs ... So what they did is cut the headstocks differently from the other guitars that were marketed to the general public.... If you look real close at this guitar you will see a lot of different hardware and also the electronics and so forth are different than the regular patent pending guitars that came after this prototype.... Check out where the neck is bolted into the body ... notice any difference?.... take a real close look at the Floyd Rose... Check out the tuning pegs... Another thing that really blows my mind is the neck work... Simply Awsome... The tone and wood used on these first few hundred were different from what the public recieved... THEY HAD TO BE because these guitars were going to the man himself... I can't tell you how lucky I am to have not one but TWO of these. If you playes have done you homework then you know what I'm telling you is right on the money. At a later date I will be offering one of these guitars for sell. Either throught this site or eBay. I can't tell you the quality that has went into producing this guitar... I can tell you this the original guitar tech. left Peavey way befor the custom shop was even thought of...
